Our Ministries

Bible Study is held once a month in someone's home. This is a church-wide event that gives each person an opportunity to fellowship and study in depth God's Word outside of church in a relaxed environment.

Deacon's Ministry

ElevAte - an upward motion; to elevate our knowledge and love for our Lord. A teenager's Bible Study grades 7-12 held every Wednesday night at 7pm in the Fellowship Hall.

Girls in Action (GA's) is a ministry for young girls in grades 1-6 held on Wednesday nights at 7pm.

The Evangelist is our monthly newsletter. Here you can find articles by Pastor Cliff and Bro. Bryan relating to church, society, our lives, and many other topics. You can also read about the church's growth, upcoming ministries and events, and even see if you're on the nursery list.

Joy Ministry - Just Older Youth from the community coming together to fellowship, sing, and learn about Jesus once a month in our Fellowship Hall.

Men's Fellowship is one of the exciting ministries at SWB. This is where any man can feel free to come and take part.  God is really working in the hearts of the men that have been a part of this fellowship.  Recently we have studied in God's Word, The Holy Bible how to be the Christian man God has called us to be. 

The Music program is comprised of many different styles of music ranging from traditional hymns to children's selections to contemporary music.

Nursery - What a joy! It means so much to work in the Sweetwater Nursery. We have great children and a very good nursery with lots of love. If you have a child from birth to 3 years, please bring them to the Sweetwater Nursery for some of this special love and care, and you can worship with us knowing your child is well cared for!

Prayer - Our Church richly believes in fervent prayer. If you have a prayer need or request, you can submit it by filling out the prayer ministry form in church or by calling the church office. Your request will be prayed over by our pastors and deacons. Confidential request will be honored and only viewed by the pastors.

Royal Ambassadors (RA's) is the ministry for young boys in grades K-6. RA's meet on Wednesday nights at 7pm in the classrooms behind the church building.

Sunday School meets every Sunday morning at 9:45. This is a time to have interactive Bible Study in a classroom setting.

Vacation Bible School is a week long bible study taught at a child's level. Each grade level is broken into different classes with dynamic teachers that are well prepared to teach in a fun and exciting new way each night. During VBS we have snacks, crafts, music, recreation, and a worship rally!

Visitation is an integral portion of the ministry work at Sweetwater Branch Baptist we strongly hold to the Great Commission where Jesus declares to go and preach and make disciples.  There is an avenue for everyone to participate in this ministry. 

WMU (Women's Missionary Union)  is having a great time the second Monday night of every month.  We have lots of food, lots of love, lots of laughter, lots of joy and of course lots of prayer.
